Paint Parties
with artist Bethany Ann
I will join your group for three hours of artist-led creation...
Everyone will need enough table space to paint and snack comfortably; they'll also need to be able to see and hear me; a nearby sink is important. Please make sure your tables are well protected before I arrive. I do not bring along food, drinks, chairs or tableware.
Let me know your ideal timeframe, and I'll see about tracking down the materials by then (I use only quality paints and canvases from Elizabeth's Art Gallery in Goderich). I'll be there up to half an hour in advance to set up, depending upon what your group has scheduled, and half an hour afterwards to regather my supplies.
I'm happy to develop a local, seasonal image to paint; but if you have your own idea, show and tell me as specifically as you can - photos welcome!
Fee for this Paint Party Workshop is $400 + $20 per participant.
A mileage surcharge of $0.80/km will apply to any location outside of Goderich.
And, if you require marketing, printed posters, graphic design, social-media posting and/or posting on my website, I'm able to provide these services at a rate of $40 per hour.

OR: I can host up to 12 participants at my studio in Goderich! My studio is in a warm, bright basement which is accessible via stairs with a rail. There is a washroom upstairs. A large, well-lit parking lot is next door. A selection of mugs, tiny teaspoons, teacups and saucers or stemless plastic goblets are available for your use. I even have large plates and tongs upon which you can serve any little snackies you happen to have! You are also welcome to bring along your own adult beverages to enjoy responsibly while we paint.

FAQ Where is your studio located? Studio address is 44 Victoria St. S, Goderich, Ontario. You'll find me there on Highway 21, *just* north of the five-point stoplight, in between Rexall Pharmacy and Natural Image Spa, through the back door with my name on it. What should we wear? The studio floor can be chilly; you might want to bring extra socks, indoor shoes or slippers. If you tend to be a messy artist, wear your "grubbies" or bring a smock to protect your nice clothes (this doesn't really apply to the Glass & Textile Workshop — the only messy part of that is the super glue). What if we aren't able to bring our own snacks? I'm happy to brew you up some fresh coffee or decaf, boil the kettle for tea or set out a pitcher of cold, pink lemonade — just ask! For an extra fee, I can have a selection of plant-based, baked goodies from The Yoga Den prepared for you, too!
