Hi! I'm Bethany (scroll through the photos to see me), and I've got a studio to share with you during Artful Wednesdays Open Studio Sessions!
A bit about the time and place:
Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome to join.
We always meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00.
My studio is located at 44 Victoria St. S. (Highway 21), just north of the five-point stoplight in Goderich, in between Rexall Pharmacy and Natural Image Spa. Look for the back door with my name on it.
There is lots of parking at Rexall Pharmacy next door.
Studio is in the basement, accessible via stairs with a rail. There is a bathroom upstairs.
My studio is an indoor-footwear zone; you'll want to bring extra socks, indoor shoes or slippers (you can keep them at the studio if you'd like), or borrow a pair from here.
Wear your "grubbies" or bring a smock to protect your nice clothes (you can keep that here, too).
Oh! And don’t forget your reading glasses.
Sturdy water bottles are welcome; I've got a kettle we can boil, tea, coffee, mugs and cups. If you want to bring yourself a snack, just promise me you won't get paint in your mouth!
This isn't a structured art class — there's no lesson plan — just the chance for you to make use of my space, materials and knowledge. Bring your own art supplies if you wish. Bring your questions, goals, reference photos, guide books, started works or WHATEVER you'd like. I'm thrilled to help you begin or continue your creative journey.
This is a drop-in; I'll only need a day's notice if you are planning on coming by. Make sure to check in with me every time... sometimes I'm out running a workshop someplace else!
I'll only charge you full price for the weeks you make use of my time and/or materials; if you just need some studio space to do your thing, please drop a donation to help cover rent.
